My sketch journals are my visual thoughts.
I’ve been keeping sketch journals since junior high because of the encouragement of my art teacher, Carole Witt. My journals contain drawings, thoughts, time spent on certain pieces, studies for larger pieces, and clippings of magazines or cards that inspired me or that I just particularly enjoyed.
