As Lead Web Developer in Graphic Design & Web Services, I am solely responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation of applications within the Academic Technologies (ATEC) Intranet.

Applications within this Intranet include, but are not limited to: staff administration, facility administration, equipment and conference room reservation, workshop/training registration and administration, Blackboard Learn custom migration guide, Blackboard video archive administration, purchase order database, and more.

Chico State Farm Store E-commerce Site

As Lead Web Developer in Graphic Design & Web Services, I am responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation of client web applications that are commissioned.

This client e-commerce application was developed for the College of Agriculture’s Farm. With this entirely web-based application, they can administer their own online store, including product lines offered, products and sub-categories within those product lines, images related to each product, if the store is closed (during Christmas break for example), whether or not a product can be purchased online or only viewed online but purchased at the Farm site, order administration, and more. Purchase payments are done via PayPal integration.

The College of Agriculture website template design was designed by my colleague, Ryan Sanders.

Chico State Client Websites

As Lead Web Developer in Graphic Design & Web Services, I am responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation of client websites. This includes ensuring conformity with campus and general web standards and guidelines as well as accessibility and ease of use.

Some of the client websites that I developed include, but are not limited to, the following: Office of Admissions, College of Business, Chico Biz Online, College of Humanities & Fine Arts, Public Affairs, University Advancement (still in development), Academic Technologies, IT Support Services, University Police, Financial Aid & Scholarship Office, Inside Chico State online newsletter, and more.

The student developers that worked for me and contributed to the development, information architecture, and copy editing of these websites include Tory Balent, Samantha Poole, Lauren Kodai, and Kevin Rys. The web designers of the websites below are my supervisor, Laura Kling, and Francie Divine (for the Inside Chico State online newsletter). Flash for the College of Business website was designed by former student developer, Cavan Riley.

Chico State Main Website

As Lead Web Developer in Graphic Design & Web Services, I had considerable involvement in all phases of the redesign of the new Chico State website, including initial research analysis, focus and stakeholder group sessions, information architecture analysis, standards–based template development, proofing, implementation, and post-implementation maintenance and user support.

Some of the pages I was involved in developing include, but are not limited to, the following: Chico State homepage, About Chico State, Academics, Student Life, Current Students, Prospective Students, Parents, Faculty & Staff, Sustainability at Chico State, Employment Opportunities, Safety at Chico State, Our Region, Visit Chico State, Maps & Tours, Campus Map, and more.

The developers that I worked with include Tony Dunn, who is the Web Content Management System Coordinator, and colleagues David Stillman and Ryan Sanders. The web designer is my supervisor, Laura Kling.
