Details: This rather detailed meeting doodle was developed during countless meetings over a period of 6 weeks. I’m thinking it’s time to start a new one? I don’t know about anyone else, but doodling helps me focus on what people are saying, and I still manage to take real notes too! As for the narwhal-ish looking fish, they are a bit of an obsession by some folks where I work, so I’m thinking that’s how it made it into the doodle.

Title: “Glass and ‘Water’”

Details: This was an assignment focusing on the study of glass and water. Unfortunately, I was at a college friend’s house the evening before it was due, and I realized that there wasn’t any non-alcoholic related glassware anywhere in the house. Oh well, I still got an ‘A’ on the assignment. :) Glass and water is one of my favorite subjects to draw because you never really realize how much is going on in the glass until the overhead lights are turned off and a spotlight is placed on the glass. All of a sudden there are streaks of light and dark everywhere on the glass. There is absolutely no way to represent everything happening onto your paper.
